The season has already started so we thought we had better introduce the new, and not so new, staff at Canterbury Hockey.
Justine took on the accountant role when Marta began her maternity leave back in December 2017. Justine works part-time each day from 9am until 2pm and looks after all things moneywise! She is not a hockey player so has no idea what the rest of us are talking about most of the time, but loves being involved in this fantastic sport.
Lucy is our new Umpire Officer and spends her time allocating umpires, working with the Umpire Committee and supporting the development of umpires in Canterbury. She hails from England, has a background in teaching and is a slightly mad goalie currently playing Hornby Div 1.
We have a habit of collecting goalies! Will is our Community Hockey Officer and takes a lead in running our participation based programmes and supporting athlete, coach and junior development. He has a degree in outdoor education and sustainability and plays in goal for the University CPL team.
