Junior Registrations – NOW OPEN
We are delighted to release our junior registrations for 2023. All grades from Kwik Sticks to Fun Sticks are now open. Please read the below information relevant to which grade you wish to register for. Subscription fees for the year are advised, once teams are confirmed you will receive a link to payment.
All grades will be commencing on either Friday 6 May or Saturday 7 May. Non playing dates include Saturday 3 June (King’s birthday), Saturday 8 July (middle weekend school holidays) and Saturday 15 July (last weekend school holidays and Matariki).
Registration for Kwik, Kiwi and Mini sticks will be closing on Monday 10 April. Any registrations beyond this date will be placed on a waitlist and may not be guaranteed a place in a team.
FUN STICKSThis programme aims to introduce children (Year 1-2) to hockey in a safe and exciting way with a focus on developing fundamental movement and basic hockey skills. Run by GoaLab Hockey, Chris and his team have produced successful programmes over the past few years guaranteed to provide the kids with a great hockey experience. Fun sticks runs from 9:00am – 10:00am on a Saturday mornings at Nunweek Park. The cost for 10 weeks is $100.

MINI STICKSThis grade is for Year 3-4 kids and played now on a Friday night or Saturday morning for both girls and boys in a 6 a-side format. An exciting opportunity presents this year with the option to play in a mixed gender team too. Upon registration you will be asked your preferences so we can best accommodate everyone. The cost for Mini sticks is $195.

KIWI STICKSThis grade is for Year 5-6 kids and played on a Saturday morning in a 6 a-side format. The cost for Kiwi sticks is $195.

KWIK STICKSThis grade is for Year 7-8 kids and played on a Saturday morning in boys/girls grades. This grade is played in a 7 a-side format for the first half of the season before splitting off with year 8’s playing 11 a-side and year 7’s remaining in 7 a-side for the remainder of the season. More information about the split will be communicated closer to the time. This year we will not be running trials for this grade. The cost for Kwik sticks is $220.
